Execution readiness matters

E&A offers cost-effective access to a panel of deeply experienced project professionals who can efficiently review your project(s) at any stage of development, the earlier the better, to identify emerging issues and recommend remedial actions

Our Story

Edwardes & Associates has been established to provide targeted review, advice and delivery support to investors seeking superior project execution.

The core of the offering is a panel of over 25 associates – all deeply experienced project professionals we know and trust. Each has delivered multiple positive project outcomes in the mining, oil & gas and/or infrastructure sectors. Most are semi-retired or independent, but still passionate about wanting to add value based on their war chest of lessons learned.

Each associate has signed up based on their track record of execution success, their willingness to give honest advice, and their ability to work in small, focused teams. Together they represent an exceptional brains-trust that can be deployed quickly to review scopes, recover budgets and schedules, and strengthen delivery systems.

Meet the Team

At the heart of E&A is a network of professionals who have spent their careers delivering some of the world’s most complex projects. Our leadership works alongside a panel of senior associates—former executives, project directors, and technical specialists—who each bring deep expertise from mining, energy, and infrastructure. This collective capability allows us to offer clients the perspective of an experienced team, not just individuals.

  • Managing Director

Robert Edwardes has more than four decades of experience leading major capital projects in mining, energy and infrastructure. He has held senior executive roles with some of the world’s largest operators and contractors, consistently delivering complex, multi-billion-dollar projects across six continents.

Most recently, as Chief Projects Officer at Arcadium Lithium, Robert strengthened leadership teams and introduced a company-wide project delivery system to improve performance across six live projects in Argentina and Quebec.

As Executive Vice President Development at Woodside, he oversaw onshore and offshore projects in Australia, Canada, the USA, Senegal and East Timor, driving a company-wide shift in project delivery systems, leadership and governance.

Before this, Robert was Managing Director, US & Latin America at Worley, responsible for 7,000 staff across 28 offices, delivering mega-projects for Exxon, Chevron and BP. Earlier in his career at ExxonMobil, he directed the landmark Kizomba A and B deepwater projects in Angola, delivered on budget and ahead of schedule, setting a benchmark for the industry.

At Edwardes & Associates, Robert now brings this breadth of experience to guide clients and lead a panel of seasoned associates dedicated to execution excellence.

  • Strategy Director

Harry is an AI-specialised mechatronics engineer with experience delivering consulting and technical solutions across energy, resources, and infrastructure. Before Edwardes & Associates, he worked at Deloitte in the Climate & Engineering division, where he focused on asset management, decarbonisation strategies, and digital transformation projects for major clients.

With a background spanning engineering design, data analytics, and project execution, Harry brings a next-generation perspective to project delivery. He is particularly focused on combining traditional project discipline with new approaches in digital systems and energy transition, ensuring E&A remains relevant to the challenges facing today’s capital projects.

Our Associate Panel

Behind us is a panel of 25 senior associates. They average 30+ years delivering major projects across mining, oil & gas, renewables and infrastructure in Australia and overseas. The bench includes former project directors, VPs and discipline leads in project management, project controls, quality and assurance, subsea/FPSO, naval architecture, operations, commercial, organisation strategy, change and team alignment.

We select each associate for judgement, a proven record, and clear advice. We deploy small senior teams to review scope, recover schedule and cost, resolve claims, and strengthen delivery systems—so projects meet the outcomes promised at FID.
